Where we work

Aged care at home in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide, coordinated from offices in Essendon Fields and Fairfield. The care comes to you.

People First Healthcare delivers aged care and Support at Home services across Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. With offices in Essendon Fields, VIC and Fairfield, NSW, our care always comes to you, in the comfort of your own home.

Coverage is deepest around the two offices. In Melbourne that means metropolitan coverage, strongest through the northern and western corridors and reaching the south-east and the eastern suburbs as well. In Sydney it means the south-west and the middle west: the Fairfield, Liverpool, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland and Parramatta council areas. Elsewhere in the country we roster carers to your area, and how quickly we can start depends on who is available near you.

Every service is delivered in your own home. The offices are where coordination and rostering happen, along with the community activities run at Roxburgh Park and Fairfield. There's no shopfront or branch in any of the suburbs listed below. Carers travel to you, not the other way around.

Regions we cover

Melbourne Sydney Adelaide

The two darker pills are the cities with an office, which is where coverage is deepest. Adelaide is served by carers rostered locally, without an office of its own.

Three regions, two of them with suburb pages

We work in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. That is the whole list, and we would rather say so plainly than imply a national footprint we do not have.

Melbourne and Sydney have suburb-level pages because that is where coverage is deepest, where the offices are, and where most of our clients live. Adelaide has a city page but no suburb pages yet, which reflects how long we have been working there rather than how well. If your suburb is not listed, call 1800 434 002 and ask what we can staff where you are. Two minutes on the phone beats guessing from a list, and we would rather turn you down than take on work we cannot roster properly.

Melbourne and Victoria

Coordinated from the Essendon Fields office, with group activities running at the Roxburgh Park community centre. Start with the Melbourne page for how the coverage works across the city, or go straight to a suburb.

Sydney and New South Wales

Coordinated from the Ware Street office in Fairfield, which doubles as a community centre. The Sydney page sets out the catchment and the languages our carers cover, and each suburb below has its own detail.

Adelaide and South Australia

Our newest region, and the one without an office of its own. Care in Adelaide is delivered by carers rostered to your area and coordinated from Essendon Fields, which in practice changes nothing about the visit and everything about how far ahead we need to plan a new roster. The Adelaide page sets out which parts of the metropolitan area we currently reach.

What you can get, in any of the three

The service list doesn't change with your postcode. Personal care, domestic assistance, in-home nursing, allied health, transport, home modifications, assistive technology, home maintenance, meals and nutrition, respite care, dementia care, companionship and care management. What varies is carer availability by suburb and day, which is the thing worth asking about on the phone.

Support at Home replaced Home Care Packages on 1 November 2025. If you're waiting on an assessment, privately funded care can start in the meantime and carry across when the package is approved. Entry-level help is funded separately through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and what you contribute towards either is set out at pricing.
